TPC Sawgrass 2009

For winning Teacher of the year for St. John's County, Seth received several prizes from Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra. One of the prizes was a fieldtrip for his class on one of the practice round days. The local news station covered it and the newspaper did as well. Click here for the news clip and here for the newspaper article. Another prize was two tickets to the final round that Sunday. My mother came to visit and keep the kids for us. One of Seth's coworkers had clubhouse passes so we went there to eat a Mother's Day Brunch. I have never had such a wonderful brunch. They had crab claws, french toast, eggs Benedict, and tons of other yummy foods. My favorite part was the dessert station...they had a cheesecake flown in from Brooklyn and a delicious ice cream bar. We also had a brunch for two voucher. So we had a wonderful day and the best part was it was totally free. We saw Tiger practicing on the putting green, but didn't see him play. Being a nursing mother means you can't be away from the little one for too long. We also saw my favorite Phil Mickelson. One fun thing is we were watching Jason Duffner (an Auburn grad) and noticed he had a Moore's Mill Golf bag. Obviously I couldn't get pictures that day but here is a pic of us before we went and one of the kids with their golf paraphernalia on. Seth got some pics on the practice round he went to earlier in the week.
