Here is a video of Ella Katherine and Reid playing. They have so much fun together!
Reid is all over the place with his army crawling and is pulling up on things more and more. Also he has a new tooth breaking through. Ella Katherine put her finger in his mouth last night and got soooo excited and started saying "He has a tooth! He has a tooth!" She is like a little mama. She likes to tell him "no" when he gets into stuff. He has started taking on little brother tendencies like pulling her hair and getting into her toys in her room. He LOVES being in her room and will stay in there for hours playing. Ella Katherine is getting more and more mature and has a gift for being a helper. The other day Seth had taken the handle off my crockpot because it had broken. He went outside to get a tool and when he came back she had put it back together with the screwdriver. It was backwards but we were amazed at how she had put the handle and washer on and had screwed it back on the cover.
On Saturday, EK and I went to the mall to have some girl time while Reid and Daddy stayed at home watching football. We bought Daddy some new shirts for school, went to the Disney store, played at the indoor play area, and then went to Coldstone for some ice cream. Even though we couldn't watch or listen to the Auburn game we celebrated by eating wings and celery and carrots. Seth grilled the wings and they were delicious! Much better than fried! On Labor Day, we took EK to get a treat from the store. She picked out a toy vacuum cleaner. She was so excited about it! For lunch we went to Chik-Fil-A with our game shirts on and all got free chicken sandwiches. They also had 2 bounce houses. Ella Katherine was excited about them, but once again was very apprehensive about getting in. She has always been a little intimidated by bounce houses. She went in one time, but got out quickly after she got caught in a pile of aggressive boys.
